8時30分より胸部や乳腺以外の領域におけるCAD（コンピュータ支援診断）Refresher Courseがあった。これらの領域のCADでは以上部位を検出する手法だけでなく，コンピュータを用いて簡便に，かつより正確に定量値を計測する方法なども紹介された。頭部では岐阜大学の内山先生の動脈瘤の自動検出法が紹介された。最後の講演では，癌を対象としたCADではなく，単純写真から骨折の検出や，手の単純写真から計測される骨年齢計測の自動化などの内容が紹介された。
